What A Week-end.

Friday I had a doctor's appointment then my daughter and a friend went out to dinner then to Bicentennial Park to see the Kenya Acrobats.  That was the longest time that Ive been out in the heat and humidity.  That night I got sick.  I'm still not feeling on top of my game right now.  My stomach is still touchy and I'm eating bland food.

Any way, today I wrote quite a lot on my fourth Flickertale Saga book.  I do feel like I've accompished something.

Tomorrow I'm going to get a fasting blood draw done and x-rays taken of my lower spine to see if we can figure out the pain in my back/hip/leg.  Then I have a echocardiogram in a week or so.  Way too much fun.

I'll keep pegging away at my writing.

Wednesday's News

Today I worked on Tehya's Tree (book two in the Flickertail Saga) preparing it for submission to a publishing company.

Yesterday was a doctor's appointment.  Things are where he wants them to be and told me to continue doing what I'm doing.  I'm fine with that.  However, I didn't get any writing or editing done.

Tomorrow and Friday will probably be the same....not much writing/edit if any.  Sigh.

Yesterday and Today

Yesterday I wrote some more on my fourth book of the Flickertail Saga.  I edited a short story that I'm planning on submitting to an anthology.  I took my first look at the finished third book of the Flickertail Saga so I can begin the first editing step on it.  Yesterday felt like a fullfilling day.

Today I checked Amazon to make sure my novel "TIARRA" was listed as "free" for the Kindle edition.  It was.  I worked on editing "Alaina's Secret" today and prepared another data file of the next ten pages for editing.

Now I'm going to leave my office, get a small bite to eat, do the dishes, and do some crocheting.  Have a good evening.

Did a lot!

I feel that today I got a lot done.  Since we got the printer issue worked out I was able to finish getting the submission guidelines for several agents.  Woohoo!

I worked on prepping Tehya today for submission.

Last night I ran my short story "The Night The Lights Went Out" through natural speak and found some things to correct.

I'm blogging!  Which is good for me.

Now I'm trying to get the printer loaded onto and recognized by my laptop.  That might be a chore all on its own.

Today's Joy.

Well I've ran the first ten pages of one of my novels through "Natural Reader" and through "Notepad++".  I found things in both of those tools that I need to rethink or correct.

Next I will do the next ten pages.  Believe me ten pages at a time are about all that I can handle.  That boys and girls is why I have three or more novels being worked on.  There are days where I wish I had more time to work on them all, but it ain't happening that way.  I will just keep pegging away at each and every one of them.

Needless to say, I am busy, busy, busy.

Have a glorious day!

Things that happened.

First off, the blankity, blankity, blank printer doesn't like me.  I cannot get anything to print off.  I had my daughter look at it.  She got it to print. I tried it this morning and I STILL CAN'T PRINT snything......arrrrggghhh!.

On a better note I will be promoting "Tiarra" with free Kindle copies on Amazon from 6/19/14 through 6/23/14.

My cardiologist's office called to tell me that they received a reading (from my heart monitor) that I was retaining water around my heart.  They told me that if I gain 3 pounds overnight, or have any swelling, I am to take an extra lasix in the morning for three mornings.  Yippee!

I worked a little on the fourth novel of my Flickertail saga.  It feels like I accomplished something.

Friday the 13th.

Well, it's Friday the 13th....are you scared?  Not me.  What happens happens.

I heard back from an agent I had queried and they turned me down as a client.  Sigh.  That's almost as bad as a rejection slip on your manuscript.....which in a way it it.  Another sigh.  Oh, well!  I'll scope out another agent, then another agent, etc.

Had to get some medical info together for a wellness home check early next week.

Our trip to Pittsburg for my grandson's high school graduation was very nice.  It was relaxing and even though it was cold, windy, and rainy I didn't seem to notice or care.  Brian graduated with honors and made his parents proud.

Right now my eyes are giving me some issues but it too will pass (I hope).  I need to take some time and work on my Readers in the Know profiles.  Not sure what all that entails.  May not start that today, but will try it over the weekend.

Progress

Today is the first day I've had time to post here.  There are things that I need to do to get things together in some order.  First thing will be a calendar of events just so I can keep track of things.

I will be taking things step by step.  I'm still learning in many cases.  I will now go and see how I can get a calendar started.

My new beginning.
